SRINAGAR: A motorcyclist was killed while two others sustained critical injuries after a motorcycle collided with a bus in the Chawalgam area of south Kashmir’s Kulgam district on Sunday, officials said.
Officials said that the deceased has been identified as Bashir Ahmad Sheikh, son of Aam Sheikh, a resident of Hanid Chawalgam. Bashir, a carpenter by profession, died on the spot due to the severity of his injuries.
They said other two persons sustained grievous injuries in the accident and were shifted to a hospital in Srinagar for specialised treatment.
Police have taken cognizance of the incident and further investigation has been initiated. (JKNS)
