Anantnag, Aug 2: A two-year-old toddler died in a tragic domestic accident after a stack of bedding kept atop a wardrobe fell on her inside her residence at Sadoora area of south Kashmir’s Anantnag district on late Saturday evening.
The deceased has been identified as Anaya Ishfaq (2), daughter of Ishfaq Ahmad Kumar, a resident of Sadoora.
Officials said the bedding stack suddenly slipped from the top of the wardrobe and fell on the toddler, causing fatal injuries. She died on the spot.
The incident has left the bereaved family and local residents in deep shock. (KNC)
