Qazigund, Aug 19 : A teenage boy from the Kund belt of Kulgam district drowned to death while bathing in a stream near Badragund area of Qazigund on Wednesday.
The deceased has been identified as Zahoor Ahmad Ganie, son of Abdul Majeed Ganie, a resident of Nigeenpora, Kund.
Zahoor was bathing in a nearby stream when he drowned. He was rushed to Emergency Hospital Qazigund, where doctors declared him brought dead.
Police have taken cognisance of the incident and initiated further proceedings. (KNC)
