Srinagar, Aug 23(GNS): The body of the man who died after falling from a hillside in Upper Mohura area of Uri in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district was retrieved after a joint operation.
Officials told GNS that Aziz Tantray, son of Subhan Tantray, resident of Upper Mohura, had died on the spot after falling from a hill while cutting a tree. His body had fallen a considerable distance down into a nalla.
Earlier, police said recovery was difficult and they had located the body with the help of a drone.
Later, the body was recovered by a joint team of Civil Defence Uri, SDRF Baramulla, Police, Army and locals.
Police said further proceedings have been initiated in the matter.(GNS)
