Udhampur, Sep 15 (GNS): A Village Defence Guard (VDG) member sustained a gunshot injury after his rifle went off accidentally in Majalta area of Udhampur district on Tuesday.
Officials told GNS that the VDG member received a bullet injury in his abdomen after his service rifle went off accidentally.
He was immediately shifted to a hospital for treatment, where his condition is being monitored.
He has been identified as Parshotam Lal, resident of Chore Panjian, Majalta.
