Srinagar, September 15: The Sher-i-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences (SKIMS), Soura, has announced the commencement of regular class work for students provisionally selected for BSc Nursing and BSc Technology courses for the academic session 2026.
According to a notice issued by the Dean Medical Faculty, SKIMS Soura, students selected through various BOPEE notifications have been informed that their regular classes will commence from September 17, 2026.
The institute has directed all provisionally selected candidates to report to the Academic Section, University Block, SKIMS Soura, located opposite the Emergency Department, on September 17 at 10:30 AM.
The notice pertains to students selected under BOPEE Notification No. 102-BOPEE of 2026 dated July 10, 2026; Notification No. 148-BOPEE of 2026 dated August 13, 2026; and Notification No. 175-BOPEE of 2026 dated September 2, 2026.
SKIMS has also circulated the notice among the concerned academic and administrative authorities and directed that it be uploaded on the institute’s official website for information of the selected candidates.
