Leh, Sept 18: Two labourers were killed and three others injured after a portion of earth collapsed at Jimchan in Zanskar district of Ladakh during road construction work, officials said.
The incident occurred on Thursday, when the labourers were trapped under the debris. Rescue teams reached the spot and pulled them out.
The deceased were identified as Abdul Rashid of Kishtwar in Jammu and Kashmir and Pawan Kumar of Jharkhand. The injured were shifted to a hospital for treatment. (KINS)
