Srinagar , September 28 : The Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly witnessed fresh commotion on Monday as the House debated a resolution seeking the restoration of statehood to Jammu and Kashmir.
BJP legislators continued their protest during the proceedings, leading to heated exchanges inside the House.
Amid the disruption, two BJP MLAs and two Congress legislators were marshalled out of the Assembly, as the situation intensified during the debate.
The protests and exchanges took place while members were participating in the discussion on the statehood resolution, with opposition and ruling-bench legislators engaging in verbal exchanges.
Despite the disruptions, the Assembly continued its proceedings on the resolution.(KNC)
