Srinagar, Sep 30 (GNS): Speaker J&K Legislative Assembly Abdul Rahim Rather adjourned the Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly sine die on Wednesday on the concluding day of the Autumn Session 2026.
The session witnessed seven sittings from September 21 to 30.
In his concluding remarks, the Speaker thanked legislators, Assembly staff and officials involved for their contribution to successful conduct of the session.
He thanked members for their participation and said his responsibility as presiding officer was to facilitate legislators in raising public issues and conveying the expectations of the people they represent.
The Speaker also appreciated the members for making effective use of time available during the session and said their participation reflected their commitment towards addressing issues concerning people of Jammu and Kashmir.(GNS)
