Srinagar, Oct 21 (GNS): The Jammu and Kashmir Government on Wednesday assigned additional charge of four District Information Officer posts to four officers in the interest of administration.
According to Government Order No. 53-JK (ID) of 2026 dated 21.10.2026, issued by Information Department, Civil Secretariat, Jammu/Srinagar, with reference to Letter No. INF/Estt-09/2015/4828-29 dated 05.10.2026 of the Directorate of Information and Public Relations, J&K, Mr. Mukesh Kumar, Jr. JKAS, District Information Officer, Reasi shall hold the additional charge of the post of District Information Officer, Doda, in addition to his duties, till further orders.
Ms. Wajeeza, Jr. JKAS, District Information Officer, Pulwama, shall hold the additional charge of the post of District Information Officer, Ganderbal, in addition to her duties, till further orders.
Mr. Gurpreet Singh, District Information Officer, Kathua, shall hold the additional charge of the post of District Information Officer, Kishtwar in addition to his duties, till further orders.
Mr. Sajad Ahmad Shah, District Information Officer, Shopian, shall hold the additional charge of the post of District Information Officer, Anantnag, in addition to his duties, till further orders.
It has been further ordered that the above officers shall also exercise the Drawing and Disbursing powers of the offices/posts whose additional charge has been assigned to them.
