Srinagar, Oct 22: The Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) has clarified that students qualifying the Annual (Private) or Bi-Annual examinations in any calendar year will be eligible to appear in the succeeding Annual/Regular examination, irrespective of any restrictions notified earlier.
In a notification, Director Academics Dr. Parveen Singh said the clarification amplifies an earlier notification dated April 10, 2017, and aims to ensure continuity in students’ academic progression.
The board has directed the concerned schools to facilitate the admission of eligible students to the next class accordingly.
According to the notification, the provision is intended to bridge discontinuity in academic pursuits by allowing students who qualify the specified examinations to continue their education through the succeeding Annual/Regular examination without being affected by previously notified restrictions.
