Srinagar, Oct 28 (GNS): A serving Junior Commissioned Officer (JCO) of the Army was found dead in Rampur area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Wednesday afternoon.
Officials sources GNS that this afternoon, a serving personnel namely Naib Subedar V Pratap Singh, posted at Lachhipora, resident of Dehradun, Uttarakhand, was found dead at FSC Rampur.
Soon after, senior officers reached the spot and the body was taken for medico-legal formalities.
Proceedings under relevant sections have been initiated to ascertain the exact cause of death, officials said, adding that further investigation is underway.(GNS)
