Anantnag, July 31(GNS): An Special Operation Officer (SOG) personnel sustained injuries after his service weapon accidentally discharged during patrolling in Magam area of Kokernag in South Kashmir’s Anantnag district, officials said.
The injured has been identified as Mohd Altaf Khan, S/o Habibi Ull Khan.
Officials told GNS that the bullet struck his foot. He was immediately shifted to SDH Kokernag for initial treatment. Later, he was referred to GMC Anantnag for further medical management.
