Srinagar, July 25 (GNS): Police on Saturday said a militant who had joined Al Badr outfit sometimes back was “rescued”  

“After the hectic efforts and by virtue of some good sources, Police has been able to rescue one (militant) who had joined Al Badr militant outfit sometimes back. The endeavourer of Police has been to save life and property during confrontation while dealing with the (militancy),” a police spokesperson said in a statement issued to GNS.

“Without any encounter or loss of life/property, the number of (militant) got less by one which is being pursued by Police whenever feasible. The policy of saving life had given encouraging response and results.”(GNS)
