Samba, Dec 21: A balloon bearing “SGA Pakistan” markings was found on Sunday in Pacholi village of Samba district, sources said.
Sources told news agency Kashmir News Corner—(KNC) that the balloon was first spotted by a Village Defence Guard (VDG) member, who immediately alerted the local police.
A police team from Police Station Purmandal rushed to the spot soon after receiving the information and recovered the balloon.
The area was thoroughly searched as a precautionary measure, and the balloon has been taken into custody for further examination, sources added.—(KNC)
