Kishtwar, Dec 16 : The body of a man was recovered from the Dul Dam area in Kishtwar on Tuesday, officials said.
An official told news agency Kashmir News Corner — KNC that the recovery was made by a joint team comprising the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF), Red Cross Kishtwar and police personnel. The police chowki in-charge was also present at the spot during the operation.
The deceased has been identified as Bilal Ahmad, a resident of Sigdi village, who had been missing for the past few months from the Kiru Power Project area.
After completing necessary formalities at the site, the body was shifted to District Hospital Kishtwar for medico-legal procedures.
Further investigation has been taken up to ascertain the circumstances surrounding the death. (KNC)
