Srinagar, Dec 10 (GNS): Crime Branch of Police Kashmir on Thursday carried a surprise check of works done under Swach Bharat Mission in Kandi Block Nathnusa District Kupwara.
“Consequent upon the reception of a written complaint regarding misappropriation of Government funds meant for Swach Bharat Abhivan, a team of Crime Branch Kashmir conducted Joint Surprise Check of works done under Swach Bharat Mission in Kandi Block Nathnusa District Kupwara in the presence of BDO and Sarpanchcs of the area,” an official of the Crime Branch told GNS. “Physical verification of the constructions was conducted and relevant records obtained, which is being scrutinised to ascertain the allegations.” (GNS)
