Srinagar: A Cop from Pulwama died after he fell unconscious in his native South Kashmir Pulwama district on Thursday.
A senior police official told the news agency Kashmir Scroll that one police personal namely Umer Mushtaq resident of Pulwama posted at DPL Pulwama fell unconscious following which he was admitted at SMHS Srinagar on Wednesday.
He said cop breathed his last at SMHS Srinagar and cardiac arrest is said to be cause of his death.
Meanwhile proceedings under relevant sections in this regard have been taken up.(KS)
