SRINAGAR, OCTOBER 06: Several public and PRI representatives today raised various developmental issues at Panchayat Halqas Theed-B, Gandtal, Syedpora and Chak Dara in Harwan block of Srinagar District during back to village-3 programmes.

The visiting officers interacted with PRIs and listened to the peoples grievances on the occasion.

The meetings were attended by several departments including Education, Health, Youth Services & Sports, Social welfare, Agriculture, Horticulture, Jal Shakti, PDD,ICDS and   other line departments.

While interacting with the visiting officers, the locals raised different issues being faced them, related to old age pension, widow pension, health card, construction of roads, lane & drains, electricity and drinking water facilities.

At Syedpora, the visiting officer   went round the area and inspected various government institutions including Anganwadi Center, Primary health centre, Schools and took stock of facilities available in the centres and directed the concerned authorities to ensure all schemes run  by  government  would reach every individuals.

During the B2V3 programme at government Secondary School Chak Dara, the visiting officer distributed wheel chairs among the beneficiaries.

He also distributed merit certificate and sports kits among students and local youth.

On the occasion, various deputations and individuals also met the visiting Officers to highlight theirs burning and pending demands regarding  construction of bridge at (Darbagh) Syedpora, upgradation of primary health centre and common service centre(CSC).

The visiting officer assured the people of the concerned area that theirs demands and issues would be taken up with the  concerned quarters for early redressal.
