Applicants informed via SMS, new dates to be announced
SRINAGAR, July 20 (GNS): Authorities have cancelled the Driving Skill Test scheduled for July 20, 2026 for applicants from Srinagar district in view of the prevailing adverse weather conditions across Jammu and Kashmir.
According to a public notice issued on Monday, the decision was taken keeping in mind the safety of applicants and staff amid the current weather situation.
Officials said the rescheduled dates for the test have already been communicated to all concerned applicants through SMS on their registered mobile numbers.
The department has expressed regret over the inconvenience caused and has sought cooperation from the public.
Commuters and applicants have been advised to stay updated through official channels for further information regarding the new test dates. (GNS)
