Single-Storey Structure Engulfed Near KITE Polytechnic College; Multiple Fire Tenders Deployed
Srinagar,June 5 :A fire broke out on Friday in the Rangreth Industrial Area near KITE Polytechnic College on the outskirts of Srinagar, officials said.
Officials told news agency JKNS that a single-storey structure was involved in the blaze, prompting an immediate response from the Fire and Emergency Services Department.
Fire tenders from Fire Station Rangreth, Fire Station Rawalpora, Fire Station Nowgam and Fire Station JVC were rushed to the spot and are currently engaged in firefighting operations to bring the flames under control.
The cause of the fire was not immediately known. There were no immediate reports of any casualties. (JKNS)
