Govt forms Committee to suggest panel for J&K BOSE chairman’s appointment

Srinagar, April 8 (GNS): Jammu and Kashmir Government on Wednesday accorded sanction to the constitution of a search committee for suggesting a panel for appointment of Chairman, J&K Board of School Education.

Headed by Financial Commissioner, Finance Department, the search committee has been asked to submit a report within a fortnight. 

Its members include Principal Secretary School Education Department, Secretary of Higher Education Department, Vice-Chancellor Central University of Jammu, Samba and Vice-Chancellor University of Kashmir, Srinagar.

“The Committee shall be serviced by the School Education Department and shall submit the panel within 15 days,” reads a government order, a copy of which lies with GNS. (GNS)
