Srinagar, Sep 18 (GNS): Army on Friday claimed to have busted a hideout and subsequent recovery of warlike stores in Chak Kigam area of Kandi in north-Kashmir’s Kupwara district.
A defense official statement received here reads that “After receiving specific inputs, an operation was launched in General area of Chak Kigam area this afternoon.”
During the operation, as per the statement, a hideout was busted leading to recovery of warlike stores including one each of AK-47 and UGBL alongside two hand grenades.
Meanwhile, the search operation was in progress, upon receipt of this statement. (GNS)
