Jammu, Mar 29 : Three boys drowned in the Tawi River near Sainik School Nagrota on Sunday evening, triggering a massive search operation.
Official sources told news agency Kashmir News Corner — KNC said that the incident occurred at around this evening, when the trio slipped into the river and went missing.
The missing boys have been identified as Sonam Dutt, son of Sunny Dutt; Bavish Koul, son of Manohar Nath Koul; and Aditya Pandit, son of Shah Ji Pandit, all residents of Nagrota area.
Soon after the incident, teams of local police and the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) rushed to the spot and launched a search operation to trace the missing boys.
Efforts were ongoing at the time of filing this report. (KNC)
