Kathua, Feb 10: A 26-year-old Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnel was found dead under mysterious circumstances in the Hiranagar area of Kathua district on Tuesday, officials said.
Officals told news agency Kashmir News Corner—(KNC) that the deceased has been identified as Prabhu Nath, they said.
Officals said he was first taken to Government Hospital Ghagwal and later referred to Government Medical College (GMC) Kathua, where doctors declared him brought dead.
Police have taken cognisance of the incident and an investigation has been launched to ascertain the cause of death, they added.—(KNC)
