Doda, Feb 20 : An altercation followed by a scuffle broke out between two groups at a local mosque in Upper Bhelli area of Arnora in Doda late night Thursday over the appointment of an Imam, police said on Friday.
A police officer confirmed to news agency Kashmir News Corner—(KNC) that acting on the information, a police team was immediately dispatched to the spot. The team assessed the situation and seized CCTV footage of the incident.
An FIR has been registered at Police Station Doda and an investigation is underway, officials said.
Police added that all those involved in the incident will be booked as per law.
