J&K government orders transfer, posting of 13 Labour, Employment officers

Srinagar, Aug 05: The Jammu and Kashmir Government on Wednesday ordered a major reshuffle in the Labour and Employment Department, transferring and posting 13 officers serving as Assistant Labour Commissioners (ALCs) and Assistant Directors (Employment) in the interest of administration with immediate effect. The order also assigns additional charge to several officers

According to Government Order No. 42 JK(L&E) of 2026, Mukhlis Ali, JKAS, presently Assistant Director Employment, Jammu, has been transferred and posted as Assistant Director Employment, Baramulla, with additional charge of Assistant Labour Commissioner (ALC), Baramulla. Suninderjeet Kour, JKAS, who was awaiting orders of posting, has been posted as ALC, Samba.

Amil Khateeb, JKAS, presently Assistant Director in the Office of the Joint Director Employment, Kashmir, has been transferred as ALC, Kupwara, with additional charge of Assistant Director Employment, Kupwara. Himani Jerath, JKAS, has been shifted from ALC, Samba, to ALC, Jammu and Kashmir Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board (JKBOCWWB). Muneer Hussain, JKAS, who was awaiting orders of posting, has been posted as Assistant Director Employment, Kathua, with additional charge of ALC, Kathua.

Amit Kumar, JKAS, has been transferred from ALC, Ramban, where he was also holding additional charge of Assistant Director Employment, Ramban, to ALC, Kishtwar. Mohammad Arif Mughal has been shifted from ALC, Poonch, to ALC, Rajouri. Shahbam Arif, who was awaiting orders of posting, has been posted as Assistant Director Employment in District Employment and Counselling Centre (DECC), Srinagar.

Pradyot Gupta has been transferred from ALC, Rajouri, to ALC, Doda, with additional charge of Assistant Director Employment, Doda. Mr. Rahil Amin, JKAS, has been shifted from ALC, Baramulla, to Assistant Director Employment, Kulgam, with additional charge of ALC, Kulgam. Zamir Ahmad, JKAS, has been transferred from ALC, Budgam, to ALC, Poonch. Piyusha Khajuria, JKAS, has been posted from ALC, Kathua, as Assistant Director Employment, Ramban, with additional charge of ALC, Ramban, while Rabia Iqbal has been transferred from ALC, Bandipora, to ALC, Budgam.

The order states that all the officers shall be deemed to have been relieved with immediate effect.
