Srinagar, Feb 25 (GNS): The Government of Jammu and Kashmir has activated dedicated helpline numbers to assist residents of the Union Territory returning from Iran, following an advisory issued by the Embassy of India in Tehran.
The Resident Commission, Government of J&K, as per GNS, said the helplines have been made operational round-the-clock to facilitate coordination, provide guidance, and extend necessary support to those arriving from Iran.
The 24×7 assistance numbers include the “Hello J&K” helpline at 7303620090, along with Control Room numbers 011-24611108 and 011-24611210.
Officials said the initiative aims to ensure timely response and streamlined assistance for returnees, particularly in light of the advisory issued by the Indian mission in Tehran. Residents have been advised to contact the helplines for any assistance or clarification related to their return and onward travel. (GNS)
