April 27: Continuing its sustained crackdown against drug trafficking, J&K police in Anantnag have attached a vehicle (Alto) bearing registration number JK03K‑9820, used in narcotics case.
Police Station Utrasoo has attached a vehicle (Alto) bearing registration number JK03K‑9820, belonging to Farooq Ah Khan son of Mohd. Fazil Khan resident of Poshnari Checklipora Chatergul, after it was found to have been used for transportation and concealment of narcotic drugs. The vehicle is involved in Case FIR No. 39/2026 U/S 8/20 NDPS Act, registered at Police Station Utrasoo.
This action reflects the firm resolve of Police to strike at the roots of drug trafficking by targeting not only the contraband but also the means and assets used in its illegal trade. By attaching vehicles and other property linked to narcotics, Police send a strong message of zero tolerance against drug abuse and reiterates its commitment to safeguard the community, especially the youth, from the menace of addiction.
