Jammu, June 16(GNS): A Head Constable of the Jammu and Kashmir Armed Police died on Tuesday after falling from a building at the battalion headquarters in Behra, Mendhar subdivision of Poonch district.
Officials told GNS that the deceased has been identified as HC Mustaq Ahmed(48), son of Mohd Bashir resident of Kalwal Mohalla Harwan, Srinagar, belt number ARP 972596, of JKAP 6th Battalion.The incident occurred around 3:30 pm.
The body was shifted to Sub-District Hospital Mendhar for medico-legal formalities. Further details are awaited.(GNS)
