SRINAGAR: The Jammu and Kashmir Police has ordered the transfer and posting of several Deputy Superintendents of Police at different places in the administrative interest, with immediate effect.
According to an official order issued by the headquarters of Jammu and Kashmir Police, Muhammad Wasim Shah, after completion of his Basic and District Practical Training, has been posted as DSP Special Operations Group Budgam with immediate effect.
Consequent upon the above adjustment, the order states that several DSPs have been transferred and posted as follows. Mohammad Idress Wani has been transferred from DSP SOG Budgam and posted as DSP 12 JKAP. Muhammad Rafi Parray has been transferred from DSP DAR Srinagar and posted as DSP EOW Srinagar.
Nazir Ahmed Teli, who was awaiting posting at Police Headquarters, has been posted as DSP DAR Srinagar. Omprakash has been transferred from DSP PHQ and posted as Sub Divisional Police Officer Basohli.
The order further directs that all the officers concerned shall be relieved forthwith to enable them to assume charge at their new places of posting without delay.
The transfer and posting order has been issued with the approval of the competent authority and copies have been circulated to the Home Department and all concerned police offices for compliance. [KNT]
