Jammu, Feb 25 :The Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission (JKPSC) has announced the result of the J&K Civil Services (Judicial) Examination-2025 and released the aggregate marks of 120 candidates who appeared in the viva-voce, with 41 shortlisted for medical examination.

Out of the 120 candidates, 41 candidates have been shortlisted for medical examination in accordance with the prescribed rules, reads the result notice issued by JKPSC as per news agency Kashmir News Corner — KNC.

The J&K Civil Services (Judicial) Mains Examination-2025 was conducted from November 16 to November 26, 2025. After evaluation of the written papers, 124 candidates were declared eligible for the interview round through a notification issued on January 20, 2026.

The viva-voce of the eligible candidates was held from February 17 to February 24, 2026, at the JKPSC office located at Resham Ghar Colony, Bakshi Nagar, Jammu.

In its meeting held on February 24, 2026, the Commission approved the declaration of results of 120 candidates who appeared in the interview and finalized a list of 41 candidates who have qualified for medical examination based on their combined merit in the written test and viva-voce. The result of four candidates has been withheld.

The shortlisted candidates have been asked to appear before the respective Medical Boards to be constituted at Government Medical Colleges in Jammu and Srinagar for medical examination as per the relevant provisions. The Commission stated that the schedule and venue for the medical tests will be notified separately and candidates will have to deposit the prescribed fee prior to the examination.

JKPSC clarified that mere appearance for the medical examination does not guarantee selection. Detailed mark sheets will be uploaded on the official website after completion of the entire recruitment process and forwarding of the select list to the Government for appointment.

The recruitment process has been carried out under the Jammu and Kashmir Civil Services (Judicial) Recruitment Rules, 1967, read with relevant SROs, the J&K Public Service Commission (Conduct of Examination) Rules, 2022, and the J&K Reservation Rules, 2005. (KNC)
