Sopore, Mar 06 : Three persons were injured after a leopard attacked them in the Bohripora area of Sopore in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Friday.

Officials said the injured were immediately shifted to GMC Baramulla for treatment, where their condition is stated to be stable.

The injured have been identified as Shakir Ahmad Dar, son of Mohammad Latief Dar, a resident of Chek Nowpora, Syed Hussain of Bohripora and Altaf Hussain, an employee of the Wildlife Department.

Meanwhile, wildlife department teams have been called to the area to trace and trap the leopard. — (KNC)
