Srinagar, Feb 6 : A partially burnt dead body was recovered from inside a residential house at Kanipora Nowgam area of Central Kashmir Srinagar district, on Friday, officials said.
An official told news agency Kashmir News Corner — KNC, The deceased has been identified as Zameer Ahmad Teli, aged about 47 years, a resident of the same locality.
Upon receiving information about the incident, a police team from Police Station Nowgam rushed to the spot, he said.
Police have taken cognizance of the matter and further investigation is underway to ascertain the circumstances leading to the incident. (KNC)
