Srinagar: Democratic Progressive Azad Party on Tuesday announced the candidacy of party supremo Ghulam Nabi Azad for Anantnag-Rajouri Parliamentary segment.
The announcement was made by party’s Treasurer Taj Mohiuddin during a presser.
The announcement was met with a loud applause by the party leaders present on the occasion.
Notably, with the announcement Azad comes in direct contest with JKNC candidate Mian Altaf for the coveted parliamentary segment.
