Srinagar, Apr 11: A man died while another was injured in a road accident at Lawaypora on city outskirts on Saturday.
An official told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that the accident took place at Lawaypora- HMT road between a load carrier bearing (No. JK01N 1602) and a motorcycle (No. JK05P 8442) resulting in injuries to two persons.
He said the injured were immediately shifted to hospital for treatment, where Ishfaq Ahmad Parray (22), son of Abdul Majeed Parray, R/o Karhama Tangmarg, was declared brought dead.
He added that the other injured, Suhail Ahmad Bhat, son of Mohammad Shafi Bhat, R/o Kunzar Tangmarg, is undergoing treatment and his condition is stated to be stable.
Meanwhile, police have taken up investigation into the matter
