SHO Kulgam confirmed to GNS that “identity of the duo has been officially ascertained.”

“Yes we have confirmed it officially with the authorities there (in New Delhi”, the officer said adding, “It was our duty to help them. It was a collective effort from DySP headquarters concerned which have yielded the results”.

Talking to GNS, cousin brother of the siblings said that the family received a call from Cyber Cell Delhi this afternoon about tracing of the duo—Younis Ahmad Dar (26) and his younger brother Faisal Hassan Dar (18).

The duo, belonging to Mohammad Pora in Kulgam district, were missing on way from Jalandhar to Kanpur near Secundra Rao in Uttar Pradesh on November 18 while ferrying a truckload of animal hides.
