Srinagar: Secretary Health & Medical Education Dr. Syed Abid Rashid Shah on Wednesday fervently appealed to the community to actively participate in the upcoming National Immunization Day – 2024, scheduled on March 3.

“As we approach the forthcoming National Immunization Day on March 3rd, 2024, it is our privilege to share a special message from the esteemed Secretary of Health and Medical Education Dr. Syed Abid Rashid Shah Sahib. With great anticipation Secretary Sahib urges all members of our community to actively participate in this vital initiative,” reads a message issued here by DHSK on behalf of Secy Health H&ME, as per Kashmir Glory.

“His message resonates with a heartfelt appeal to parents and caregivers, emphasizing the critical importance of immunizing children under five years of age for pulse polio vaccination for the larger goal of eradication of polio from the country.”

“Furthermore, he underscores the commitment of the Health and Medical Education Department to ensure the success of this nationwide campaign, leaving no child behind. Together, let us unite in our efforts to prioritize the health and well-being of our youngest citizens,” reads the message.

“With collective action and determination, we can make a significant impact on the health landscape of our nation. Let’s come together and make National Immunization Day a resounding success as emphasized by Secretary H&ME in his message,” reads the message further.
