National Road Safety Month: GDC Ajas organises Awareness programme & Pledge Taking Ceremony

BANDIPORA: In continuation to National Road Safety Month activities, Govt Degree College (GDC) Ajas today organised an awareness programme within the college campus, here.

The focal point of the event was a special lecture delivered by Dr. Ashaq Hussain, Convener Activities who threw light on road safety measures.

Dr. Ashaq highlighted crucial aspects of road safety, including defensive driving techniques, importance of seatbelt usage, adherence to speed limits, and the role of responsible road behaviour.

His expertise and engaging delivery captivated the audience, imparting valuable knowledge on mitigating road hazards.

On the occasion, a significant segment of the programme was dedicated to a Road Safety Pledge Taking Ceremony emphasizing the commitment of both students and staff towards fostering a safer road environment.

The programme witnessed enthusiastic participation from students and staff members. The engagement of the GDC Ajas in the Pledge Taking Ceremony underscored a collective determination to prioritize road safety.

The awareness programme serves as a catalyst for ongoing initiatives promoting road safety and combined efforts of the organizers, speakers, and participants have set a positive tone for continued advocacy in road safety.
