Kupwara: President NHM Association Kupwara has condemned the ‘abusive and unparliamentary language’ of BMO Tangdhar with health care staff posted in the remotest block of Kupwara.
The Association has termed the allegation as shocking and appalling in nature, wherein 14 doctors have submitted a joint resignation addressed to CMO Kupwara, stating that they were ‘subjected to harassment, corruption, abuses and punitive orders’ by the current BMO Tangdhar.
The NHM Body has in the meanwhile hailed the prompt action of CMO Kupwara by framing a 5-member committee to investigate the seriousness of charges and submission of report within days.
“Now it is the duty of the 5 members team to probe the matter so that the simmering situation will settle down and justice be delivered”, the Association said in a statement to Kashmir Glory.
The Association has expressed hope that the team will fulfil the mandated work and table their recommendation to end the chaos.
