Baramulla: Seeking the cooperation of common people to eradicate the drug menace from society, Inspector General of Police (IGP), Kashmir, V K Birdi Friday said that police have done a marvelous job to curb drug abuse.
He was speaking to reporters in North Kashmir’s Baramulla during a visit to a drug de-addiction centre.
The IGP said that with the cooperation of the people, this menace can be eradicated. ‘People should inform the police and play their part. We have pledged to make society drug-free,” he said.
