Kupwara, Jul 11: A residential house valued at 14.45 lakh was attached by Kupwara Police on under Section 68-F of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act as part of its continuing crackdown on drug trafficking in north Kashmir.
Officials said the property belongs to Raj Mohmad Khan, son of Habibullah Khan, a resident of Kakerpati in the Diver Lolab area of Kupwara district.
According to officials, the attachment was carried out in accordance with the provisions of the NDPS Act as part of sustained efforts to curb narcotics trafficking and target properties allegedly acquired through proceeds of the illicit drug trade.
