Srinagar: A teacher and peon of a government run educational institution, have been arrested on allegations of sexually assaulting a school girl in Chatterhama area, falling in Srinagar suburbs, media reports said.
The reports said that a school girl (name withheld), currently enrolled in Class X, has been ‘sexually assaulted’ by her school teacher and peon.
A case under FIR NO. 23/2025, under section 68,127 BNS, 5/6, 16 POSCO Act has been registered in this regard and both the accused taken into custody. Further investigations in the matter are underway.
