Kupwara, July 9 (GNS): Hours after two persons lost their lives slipping into a well at Chalgund area of Halmatpora, another duo has fallen into a well during dredging at Divar Kakkarpatti area of Lolab in this north Kashmir’s frontier district.
Reports reaching GNS said that the duo fell into the well while carrying out its dredging at Divar Kakkarpatti area of Lolab.
The duo has been identified as Niyaz Ahmad Khan (31) son of Murad Ahmed Khan and Shabir Ahmad Khan (26) son of Ali Mohammad Khan.
However both the persons were recovered safely by timely efforts of locals and the duo was subsequently evacuated to Sub District Hospital, Sogam.
When contacted BMO Sogam Dr. Rahim told GNS that “Both of them are responding well to the treatment and are out of danger.” (GNS)
