Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir Police have booked a social-media user for posting ‘objectionable content against women folk of a particular community’.
Taking to microblogging site ‘X’, Srinagar Police, wrote “…takes cognizance against an individual for posting objectionable/provocative content against women folk of a particular community on social media platform X.”
“FIR No 14/2024 under relevant sections of law stands registered in PS Rainawari & investigation initiated Srinagar Police,” the post reads.
The accused, as learnt, had made demeaning comments against women folk of a particular community, on social-media platform ‘X’, after somehow making it to latter’s religious place.
