Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir National Conference has put an end to several months long suspense with announcement of Omar Abdullah from North Kashmir and Aga Syed Ruhullah Mehdi from Central Kashmir segments respectively.
The announcement of the respective candidacies was made by JKNC President Dr. Farooq Abdullah in Srinagar.
The announcement made by Senior Abdullah has set aside the grapevine of a possible mandate to Chaudhary Mohammad Ramzan from North Kashmir seat.
While Omar Abdullah will be updated against Sajjad Gani Lone and Mir Fayaz in North Kashmir, Aga Syed Ruhullah Mehdi will be contesting against Apni Party’s Mohammad Ashraf Mir and PDP’s Waheed-ur-Rehman Parra.
