Anantnag, Apr 13 : Two unidentified bodies were recovered from Kamad area of south Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Monday, officials said.
An official told news agency Kashmir News Corner (KNC) that locals first noticed the bodies and immediately alerted the police.
He said a police team rushed to the spot soon after receiving the information, while Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) personnel also arrived to collect samples and assist in the investigation.
The official added that the identities of the deceased are yet to be established and the cause of death is being probed.
Further investigation in the matter has been initiated. — (KNC)
