Budgam, July 8: Two persons sustained critical injuries after a road accident at Batpora Crossing in Magam area of central Kashmir’s Budgam district on Tuesday evening, officials said.
Both the injured were initially shifted to Community Health Centre (CHC) Magam, from where they were referred to JVC Hospital, Bemina, Srinagar, for specialised treatment.
The injured have been identified as Manzoor Ahmad Malik, a resident of Rawatpora, Tangmarg, and Shabir Ahmad Dar, a resident of Gofbal, Kunzer, Baramulla.
Hospital sources said both sustained severe head injuries and were admitted to JVC Hospital in critical condition.
Police have taken cognizance of the incident, while further details regarding the circumstances leading to the accident are awaited. [KNT]
