Poonch, July 3 (GNS): Two persons, including a biker and his pillion rider, were injured on Friday in a head-on collision between a car and a bike at Chattapani on Mughal Road in Surankote area of Poonch.

Confirming the incident, Block Medical Officer (BMO) Surankote Dr Mohd Yousaf Choudhary told GNS that the ambulance reached the spot in time and the injured were promptly shifted to hospital. “Both are under treatment at SDH Surankote,” Dr Choudhary added.

One of the injured was identified as Sagar, 34, son of Satpal, resident of Ladhana. The injured were immediately shifted to PHC Chandimarh for initial treatment and later referred to Sub District Hospital (SDH) Surankote for further medical attention.

Police have taken cognizance of the incident and further proceedings are underway.(GNS)
