Srinagar, Dec 26 : In a heart-warming recognition of courage and compassion, a young boy from Punjab Shravan Singh was on Friday honoured with the Prime Minister’s National Child Award in New Delhi for his selfless support to Army personnel during Operation Sindoor.
According to details available with news agency Kashmir News Corner (KNC), Shravan Singh a resident of Ferozpora area of Punjab, earned national recognition for his extraordinary gesture of helping soldiers deployed along the border.
During Operation Sindoor, the young boy would regularly bring lassi, milk and bread from his home and deliver them to the Army personnel, winning admiration for his sense of responsibility and patriotism at a very young age.
Shravan Singh was felicitated with the prestigious award by the President of India, Droupadi Murmu, in the presence of senior officials, acknowledging his exemplary courage, kindness and contribution in supporting the armed forces.
The young boy’s act has been widely praised across the country, with many hailing him as a symbol of youthful patriotism and humanity. (KNC)
